haruka nakamura's "Forest"-themed album project for Tsutaya is released. The second is an ambient world featuring piano as the main instrument, with a nostalgic and refreshing sound. The cover photo was taken by Rinko Kawauchi, a photographer who has been a close friend of Nakamura's since the last album.
Musician haruka nakamura is in charge of the the in-store music for several Tsutaya bookstores in Japan from 2023 to 2024.
The project features all new music, with a focus on the concept of a bookstore and the theme of "forest," which reflects the birthplace of pianos and musical instruments. Four albums titled "Blue Forest" will be launched until summer 2024, paying tribute to Nakamura's hometown, Aomori.
The first album, his first synthesizer-only music, has been well received by many listeners. The second features piano and ambient sounds and resembles a blend of the popular works Twilight and Still Life.
The warm piano touch and the emotional melodies of the songs are like a cozy winter evening, as expressed in the jacket photo of this album by Rinko Kawauchi.
The music will also be presented as a conceptual, beautifully designed CD package as a continuation of the previous works.
