VivaOla, a next-generation artist who fully demonstrates her global sensibilities, has completed her first self-produced album!
VivaOla is a 22-year-old college student and R&B artist from Tokyo, currently based in Boston, USA. He mixes English lyrics and Japanese poetry while creating a sound influenced by modern jazz from the 50s and 60s, R&B from the 70s and 80s, and neo-soul from the 2000s. He is also actively involved in the music and art collective "Solgasa" with Wez Atlas, with whom he collaborated on the album's "Tokyo Syndrome," as well as michel ko and Tommi Crane.
This work stands out in terms of MIX and sound selection, and the expressions of all songs are rich in variety. It's an expression unique to VivaOla, which brings together the sensibilities of a track maker and a multi-instrument player.
