Beyond Freeform Jazz. From the world of motion to the world of stillness, Hiroto Uyama's romantic melodies lead you emotionally and gently in this gem of a ballad album.
""Everything is mellow and gentle. With your loved ones, or even alone. With a beautiful view outside or while relaxing in the bedroom. Take your time and listen to it. ~Hiroto Uyama~""
It's been seven years since ""Freeform Jazz"" was released as Hiroto Uyama's new frontier. And it's been 10 years since the release of ""Freedom of the Son"" and the story beyond has been carefully crafted and elaborated over the years. Everything on earth cannot exist on its own. Light and shadow, yin and yang, and stillness and motion. Without motion there is no stillness, and conversely, without stillness there is no motion. If ""Freeform Jazz"" represents Hiroto Uyama's external side, where he releases his rising emotions and energy through music, then ""Breath of Love"" is the opposite of that, projecting his calm emotions and inner side. In order to express a certain atmosphere, the tones used in all the songs on this album were unified and produced. He played everything from the soprano and tenor saxophones he usually uses in live performances to the accompaniment, guitar, bass, and beats himself. The participating artists include Substantial and J Soul, who are based in Virginia, USA, and who have collaborated with Hiroto Uyama on his first title work, as well as Marter, who showed us his wonderful singing voice in the project album ""magicnumber"". COMA-CHI, who resonated with him through ""Freeform Jazz"" and released the Japan-themed album ""Japanoia"" together with him, participated in this album under her other name Reinaria, adding color to the songs. No matter which song you listen to, they are undoubtedly melodic and romantic, but listening to the album as a whole tells a story, sometimes emotional, sometimes gentle, and sometimes nostalgic, and including the historical background and influences of the songs, it is an album that expresses a calm and deep inner world that cannot be described in a single word. Please experience the world of Hiroto Uyama's new album.
