Following his masterpiece "Movies", ex-Can member Holger Czukay's third masterpiece album! A diverse and fascinating album with different musicians for each song! [Released in 1981]
Holger Czukay's third album, previously released in Japan under the title "Traveler of Images". The 18-minute "Ode To Perfume", which took up the entire A-side of the LP, is a masterpiece with tremolo guitar and radio collages floating against a backdrop of relaxed drums. The title track, which features the German punk band SYPH, "Witches'Multiplication Table" with Conny Plank, "Two Boss Shuffle" with Can's ally Jaki Liebezeit, and "Hiss'N'Listen" with Jah Wobble as guest, all have strong individuality from the musicians involved, but the sound is unmistakably Holger Czukay's world. The entire album is colored with a unique ambience that is both disturbing and comfortable.
