Nitsua's new album "" soul of the skl "" released for the first time in 5 years is now available on vinyl!
It was originally planned to be released by nujabes' Hydeout Productions, but nujabes passed away suddenly during production. After that, he continued production with Koizumi Takumi, who was managing nujabes at the time. He provided songs for nujabes' memorial album under the name Zack Austin, and released his debut album ""dayscape"" in 2015. The content is centered around songs he has been creating since he was 18 years old, and many listeners were surprised by his talent. After that, he released ""EPOC"", a collaboration with Marcus D, and in 2019, he released his second album ""Safety In the Sun"", and in the same year, ""Safety In the Moon"", which became a hot topic. Nitsua's dreamy and gentle worldview has been supported by many listeners since his debut, and he continues to create works that are loved even now, nearly 10 years after his debut album. Nitsua is finally releasing his latest album after five years.
The opening track, ""breeze"" gently invites you to take your first step into his new world with its relaxed yet powerful beat and floating melody. The second track, ""psiothurism"" warmly embraces you in a sparkling world that is reminiscent of sunlight drifting through the air. The flute played by Nitsua himself is also wonderfully pleasant. Going deeper, you will feel the comfort of each of the individual tracks, such as the fourth track, ""slow light on a feather,"" and ""shadow of a tree,"" which were released as singles in advance, within a unified worldview.
The eighth track, ""safe ground"" was produced as a homage to ""luz"" by haruka nakamura, one of his favorite artists, and features Linn Mori. In the 11th track ""cliffside bench"" Nitsua plays the flute extensively, and while expressing a slightly different worldview, the final track ""stargazing"" depicts a beautiful scene that could be said to be the deepest part of the fantastical and gentle world he has painted.
The colorful and fantastical world that Nitsua imagined spreads throughout the album, and it is an album that allows you to become a floating soul in that world and immerse yourself comfortably in its depths.
