This album was created as theatrical music for a contemporary dance performance titled Hibiware no Kodo, comprised of six stories based on the ancient Greek Chorus. This dance act was performed by six dancers and two actors of the dance company OrganWorks, led by Shintaro Hirahara, a dancer and choreographer himself.
The performance premiered at the KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre in December of 2021 and came to a close in March of 2022 at Theatre Tram in Setagaya, Tokyo.
The music that Ramza created based on the different themes in each chapter is surrealistically layered with minimal digital sounds that were delicately programed along with diverse ambient sounds. The nostalgic melodies of the keyboard that seem to softly blanket us and the ambient noise that reach the brain directly heightens our hearing senses. The raw stereophonic sounds and the voices of animals and the immortal gives us an illusion that we have slipped into ancient times.
Divinity and lunacy coexist in this alternative music album. A phenomenal music experience that will provoke your imagination awaits you.
