The LP edition of "Interior Music - Cafe Apres-midi meets ACME Furniture" is now available! The project is based on the "Free Soul", "Cafe Apres-midi", "Mellow Beats", "Good Mellows", "Jazz Supreme", "Scenes with Music", "Incense Music", and "Chillout Breeze" series, and has supervised over 350 compilations to date. Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) has been providing a guidepost for music listeners around the world as a music selector since the 1990s. He is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his base, Cafe Apremidi in Shibuya, which is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his compiling career, and has gained tremendous support for his various music proposals that color our daily lives.To celebrate the launch, a vinyl LP of the double name compilation CD "Interior Music - Cafe Apres-midi meets ACME Furniture" will be released on November 29, 2024 (Friday). The theme of the CD is the marriage of furniture and music, and Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) has chosen a selection of gems that have colored the comfortable atmosphere of Cafe Apres-midi, including covers of masterpieces by Sade, Weldon Irvine, Roger Nichols, and others, as well as newly recorded tracks by Wack Rhythm Band, Wack Rhythm Band, and others. Wack Rhythm Band's "My Ever Changing Moods" from The Style Council, Tetsuro Yabune's "Haven't We Met" from Kenny Rankin, Hiroto Uyama's "The Isley Brothers (At Your Best) You Are Love" by The Isley Brothers,Also included is Mixmaster Morris' excellent new remix of Calm x Holger Czukay's "Persian Love" - Calm's Yoshiharu Takeda x Bobby Hutcherson's "Montara"! The artwork is by Jiro Fujita, aka FJD, a graphic designer who has worked with Nujabes and many other artists, and mastered by Calm, a top Japanese jazz, chill-out, and Balearic artist who is also highly regarded overseas.
