Formed in 2004, Pay money To my Pain laid the foundation for today's loud rock scene as a pioneer of Japanese heavy rock bands.
The overwhelming presence of the band members, the heart-wrenching lyrics, K's powerful vocals, and the scale and range of their music have attracted a lot of attention. They have many young bands and fans who respect them. The band played with famous artists like Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies in 2012 and gained a position as a loud rock representative in Japan.
In 2011, K played at AIR-JAM and collaborated with Akihiro Namba (from Hi-STANDARD) and Goji Ueda (from AA=). They also played a two-man show with BUCK-TICK and performed at a festival. However, K (Vo) passed away at the end of 2012.
In 2013, the album being produced excluded K's vocals on certain songs. Those songs featured Masato (from coldrain), Hazuki (from lynch.), Koie & Teru (from Crossfaith), Taka (from ONE OK ROCK), KYONO (from THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS), JESSE (from JESSE), and KYONO (from THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS). On December 30, 2013, the band stopped their activities following their performance at "From here to somewhere" at ZEPP Tokyo.
On February 2, 2020, the band revived for one night only at "BLARE FEST. 2020," hosted by coldrain.
