Acidclank, the solo project of Yota Mori, renowned for his exceptional live performances and melodic tracks inspired by Madchester techno, is set to release his highly anticipated new album, In Dissolve.
The album is a conceptual work centered around the theme of "re-experiencing a trance state," and it expresses the feeling of "the dissolution of boundaries" between the self and the surrounding world. The first half of the album features minimalistic gamelan and synthesizer phrases, weaving repetitive, melodic soundscapes that guide listeners into a deep meditative state. As the album progresses into the second half, tracks evolve through diverse styles such as drum and bass, dream pop, and more, taking the listener deeper into the mental abyss.
In Dissolve incorporates elements from a broad spectrum of genres, including ethnic music, psychedelic trance, minimal techno, electro, and dream pop. The album represents an experimental work that crystallizes Acidclank’s musical exploration and challenges.
