"Overdreamt” follows danceable and funky elements and synth sounds of the previous "Once Upon A Season," and also features songs that focus on beats and grooves, as well as songs with a more breathy synth-pop - AOR and dream-pop flavor like the early years of the band's career. It includes "Epiphany," the guitar boogie tune that stands in the midst of languor, the melancholic loose R&B "Worst Dawn" based on vaporwave and chill wave, and the dance track "Mild Child" that the crisp rhythm and soft voice of the singer matches perfectly.
In addition to the singles, the perfect album opener “Overdreamt,” with its sparkling synths and lilting guitars, breezy “Fantasy” evokes a serene beach setting; and the series of instrumental numbers (“Starcraft” and “Pathfinder”) are fan favorites. and “Pathfinder”) are compiled.
